4 November 2008 John Clarkesaid I was born and went to Central Grammar school in Birmingham. The school had a camp at Bryntail Farm. I first attended camp in 1955, before the dam. To me, living in the middle of Birmingham, it was a paradise of freedom from noise and traffic, with school friends that got to know and like. Llanidloes for me has not changed much, even the milk bar is still there (where I had my first ever milk-shake). Llani will always be the best memory of my school days. I still visit every year and on a sunny day walking it's streets I am back in my childhood. May Llanidloes never change. Thank-you Llani
