If you’re looking for a low impact, but comfortable and cosy break in a lovely rural location with abundant wildlife, then our award winning cosy, but eco friendly, cottages will fit the bill.
Located on Sustrans Route 8, very near to the Glyndwr’s Way and near to the Wye Valley Walk, our 4 star cottages make an ideal rural retreat and a great base for an outdoor activity holiday, a romantic break or a get together with friends or family.
Each of the two cottages sleep 2-8 in two double rooms, one twin room with en suite shower room and one room with substantial and comfortable adult size (3 foot) bunk beds and. The rest of each cottage consists of a large open plan living area, kitchen and shower room.
The cottages were designed, furnished and fitted out to a very high standard: a fact recognised by the Visit Wales 4 star rating. They are all located on one level and there is ramp access. Prices per week (2011) range from £412 (low season) to £825 (high season), but we offer a 25% discount for small parties.
The cottages are also available for long week-ends and mid-week breaks - please enquire. If you are looking for accommodation for up to 16 for family get togethers / groups of friends, the cottages can also be hired together. Stabling for up to 5 horses is available if required: and grazing.
The hire charge includes electricity, heating and a basket of wood for the wood burner. Well behaved pets by arrangement.
We can also offer evening meals (either 2 or 3 courses) to guests, if required. All the food is freshly home-cooked and sourced locally where possible.
