Locally made pottery is available off the shelf or to order. There is woodcraft in many guises, from sublime Welsh stick chairs to simple light pulls or quirky wood and recycled cutlery hangers. Cosy knitted throws, or crocheted pictures and hand made cards – these are just some of the local crafts available at D'Eco.
Auro VOC-free natural paints and the more rustic Lime Earth paints are environmentally friendly and pleasant to use – and can be perfectly complemented with eco wallpaper from Graham and Brown or hand made tiles from the Winchester Tile Company, Original Style or Craven Dunnill's working tile factory museum at Jackfield near Ironbridge.
New lines are being added all the time, but favourites include bamboo towels, lush organic cotton towels, bathrobes in cuddle deep pile cotton towelling of light waffle woven cotton, satin smooth bedding, baby stuff and underwear: men's boxers and strappy vests or classic/mini pants for women - all of it organic of course. There are hemp exfoliators, Eco Bath products and willow baskets, cotton, hemp or jute shopping bags, woollen rugs to sink ankle deep into … and we even have fair trade rubber gloves.
