Chris Sheppard with Manager, Clare Evans, acquired the property in April 2011, refurbished the Bar and Restaurant and since then it has gone from strength to strength.
The Red Lion offers a good range of Beers, Lagers and Ciders together with a number of cask ales.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal with a spacious Lounge Bar with an inglenook fireplace with an open fire. The adjoining Games Room provides a Pool Table, Darts, Pub Games and TV. Live Sports are shown.
Opening hours are from 5pm Mondays to Thursdays, 2pm on Fridays and 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Food is served from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesdays to Fridays with weekend hours of 12 noon to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm.
The Beer Garden Fresh air drinking and smoking are available at the front and rear of the Inn.
The rear beer garden, in particular, offers a sheltered quiet haven as the sun sets over the surrounding hills!
